BIO: Animae is a man completely shrouded in mystery and a well guarded weapon of Shin-Ra. His early life is only known by a few and all of them are dead. He grew up in a lab of an unknown location and was constantly monitored by scientists. After a couple of years, Animae was introduced to a then infant Sephiroth. As the years rolled by it seemed that the two children carried very different dispositions, with Sephiroth being far more withdrawn and Animae being more curious and interested in the world around him. The two were raised to believe they were brothers. This was put in effect to give Sephiroth a more normalized personality and it worked as he confided in Animae quite a bit and became more social as a result. Animae was ever an impressive child with the intelligence of the average adult by age 6 and then the intelligence of the average scientist by age 9. By the time Animae reached his 12th year he was just as, if not more intelligent then the highest ranking scientists that surround him. His intelligence was a total abnormality, but he was looked upon with great promise as being the next big thing to happen to Shin-Ra. This dream was short-lived however, since Animae began to show interest in the physical arts of war thanks to Sephiroth and his already growing interest in the same subject. The president decided to let the two young men train in the companies military. Both showed immense ability in the field without ever having trained in it and it was then that P.P.S. (Project Perfect Soldier) went from being a dream to a reality. SOLDIER had its first two members and it was quickly joined by many other very promising members such as Weiss, Genesis and Angeal, who would later go to be the defensive general of SOLDIER. Animae was awarded the title of head general of the Shin-Ra army due to his massive intelligence and unequaled battle skills. Sephiroth was given the title of offensive general. Animae was a well liked individual in the military thanks to his kind and humbled attitude. He lived his whole life dictated by the ideals and dreams of other individuals and so it wasn't a surprise that once the war with Wutai began to boil that he felt his time to leave Shin-Ra was close at hand. He requested to the president that he be relieved of duty, but was given an alternative instead. The president knew that even the majority of the military couldn't take down a man like Animae and so he told Animae that if he could help Shin-Ra win this war that he would be free to go his way. Animae accepted the terms. Hojo argued to the president that letting such an individual escape wasn't a good idea and that it would lead to the ruin of Shin-Ra with all the secrets that Animae knows about the company, but the president wasn't having any of it and told the frustrated Hojo to tend to his own business. Over the years in the military Animae and Sephiroth began to grow apart mentally. Sephiroth constantly felt like Animae was overriding him and making him look bad in front of his troops, which wasn't Animae's intention at all, but it turned Sephiroth into a rather bitter person which eventually turned to hate. Hojo witness this on a few occasions and knew he could use it to his advantage to control Sephiroth. The war in Wutai lasted almost a decade and it was in its last two years with the Shin-Ra military pulling all the stops to win and doing a good job thanks to all of its impressive SOLDIER members. The victory seemed inevitable. Sephiroth's bottled up emotions toward Animae were at their boiling point by this time, unbeknown to Animae. Hojo began to meet with Sephiroth and twisted his emotions and gave him promises of being the hero and general of the Shin-Ra army so that Sephiroth would kill the soon to be Ex-SOLDIER, Animae. Sephiroth was set in his objective. He was given some info that the enemy was going to make a sneak attack from the High-Cliff mountain range, which was a wasteland in Wutai that was full of mako pools and a steep cliff that dropped into the ocean. It was far from the main forces and Sephiroth felt it was the perfect place to try and assassinate Animae. Animae was more then willing to help Sephiroth when the man he called his brother came asking for help. The two grabbed a few of their close, personal underlings and took off towards the mountains. The claim was correct and a large enemy force was indeed trying to sneak in behind them, but the two greatest members of SOLDIER weren't about to let that happen. The enemy forces had them outnumbered at a ratio of 30 to 1, but these were Shin-Ra's finest and the battle was well fought with only a couple of casualties on their side. Amidst the chaos of the battle Sephiroth found his moment, but Animae was on high alert because of the battle. Sephiroth's blade found the soft flesh on Animae's abdomen from behind and delivered what seemed to be a fatal blow. Animae was in total shock and had no idea how it happened, but the blow to the body had him quickly lunging towards the cliff, both from surprise and the force of the blow. He fell, but despite the writhing pain in his body he still managed to take hold of the edge of the cliff. It was then that Animae saw the face of his attacker and it beyond what he wanted to comprehend as the face of Sephiroth, the man he called his brother, showed no compassion and was cold without emotion. Sephiroth's boot firmly came down on Animae's fingers and the great general of the Shin-Ra army fell below into the crashing waves. The war was soon won and Sephiroth was given the title of Hero in Shin-Ra thanks to his involvement in winning the war and was appointed the title of head general. All known records of Animae were erased from existence by Hojo as if he was never there in the first place. No records of his death or a memorial in the news paper. He was just gone. Many members of the military came to believe he died in battle, but others believed he deserted thinking that Animae could never fall to any normal warrior. Animae's body managed to end up encased in Materia just north of the Forgotten Capital and for 10 years he remained in a catatonic state, never aging and being seeped in the powers of the lifestream. Animae finally came into consciousness a year after the events of meteor-fall and broke free from the Materia encasing him with a thirst for revenge. He spent the next 2 and a half years gaining knowledge on what he had missed in the time he was gone and was more then surprised by what he found. He discovered many lost and long forgotten Shin-Ra facilities in his travels and came to discover a facility in the mountains just south of Midgar. Deep underground came into contact with hundreds of tanks with Sephiroth clones in them. None of them looked like Sephiroth, but they all bared the same silver hair and cyan eyes. Many of these clones would soon come to call Animae their master. In his travels Animae becomes aware of plans being made by Genesis to take control of the world due to running into one of his clones. Animae grows anxious over this, but it's further increased once he discovers the malicious intent he feels dwelling in the lifestream that feels just like Sephiroth. Animae takes it upon himself to find a way to stop the growing threat, but he knows he needs help. His mission then becomes one of forming an army which would include old exiled and former SOLDIER members, Shin-Ra, the heroes of the Jenova War, The WRO and Sephiroth clones.

Well by now you guys should know my very cool FFVII OC, Animae.

I'm pretty damn happy with this over-all and I'm really enjoying the difference in what my current skill can do with a character like Animae. When I invented him I couldn't draw him nearly as well as I wanted, but as time goes by he's becoming less of a task to draw and as a result he looks way better too! I tried to emulate Tetsuya Nomura's colouring styles into this and it kind of failed, but it still came out awesome regardless.
